MemberPad LLC ("MemberPad," "we," "us," or "our") has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to keeping children safe on our platform and to supporting the global effort to eliminate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online. This document describes the standards we enforce, the tools we use to detect and prevent CSAE, and how anyone — users, parents, law enforcement, or the general public — can report concerns to us.
1. Our Commitment
MemberPad is a platform for creators and the communities they build. We believe those communities should be safe spaces, free from any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. We comply with all applicable laws regarding the protection of children online, including the United States Code Title 18, Sections 2251 and 2258A, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations involving suspected CSAE.
MemberPad is a platform for adults. Our minimum age to create an account or use the service is 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 on the platform; accounts found to belong to a minor are terminated and the associated personal information is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Creators who host communities on MemberPad are contractually bound by Section 4 (Child Safety Standards) of our Creator Agreement to enforce these standards within their communities, report suspected CSAE to MemberPad within 24 hours, preserve evidence, and cooperate with investigations. Members of MemberPad communities are separately bound by the child-safety prohibitions in our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on MemberPad and will result in immediate removal of the content, termination of the responsible account, and, where required by law, a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC):
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any image, video, audio, text, or other content that depicts, describes, or sexualizes a minor, whether real or computer-generated.
- Grooming: Any attempt to develop a sexual or exploitative relationship with a minor, including through chat, direct messages, community posts, or external coordination arranged on our platform.
- Sextortion: Threatening or coercing a minor into producing or sharing sexual content, or threatening to release such content.
- Sexualized commentary on minors: Posts, comments, or messages that sexualize children, including commentary on a minor's body, clothing, or behavior.
- Trafficking and solicitation: Promoting, advertising, soliciting, or facilitating the commercial sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Links to CSAM: Sharing, linking to, or directing users to CSAM hosted anywhere, including on external sites, file-sharing services, or messaging apps.
- Impersonation of minors for exploitative purposes: Creating accounts that impersonate minors in order to contact, groom, or exploit other users.
3. Prevention & Detection
Age Verification and Account Controls
Users must confirm they are at least 18 years old at the time of account registration. We use signals such as self-declared age, account behavior, profile content, and reports from other users to detect suspected underage accounts. Accounts we believe belong to a minor are suspended pending review and, if confirmed, terminated with deletion of the associated personal information.
Human Moderation
Our trust and safety team reviews reports submitted through in-app reporting tools, email, and external channels. Moderators are trained on how to recognize CSAE, handle evidence, and preserve records for law enforcement. Creators who operate communities on MemberPad also have access to moderation tools — including removing content, banning members, and escalating reports to MemberPad — and are expected to use them.
4. How to Report
If you encounter content or behavior on MemberPad that you believe violates these standards, please report it immediately. We review every CSAE report we receive and prioritize them above all other moderation work.
In-App Reporting
Every post, comment, chat message, and user profile on MemberPad includes a Report option. Tap or click the menu (•••) next to the content, choose Report, and select Child safety / CSAE as the reason. Reports submitted through this channel are routed directly to our trust and safety team and reviewed within 24 hours.
Email Reporting
To report CSAE content or conduct outside the app, or if you are a parent, guardian, educator, or member of law enforcement, email us at support@memberpad.com. Please include as much detail as possible, such as URLs, usernames, timestamps, and screenshots if safe to share.
Report Directly to NCMEC
In the United States, you can also report suspected child sexual exploitation directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678. Outside the United States, contact your local law enforcement and, where available, your country's INHOPE hotline at inhope.org.
5. Enforcement & Response
When a CSAE report is substantiated, we take the following actions:
- Immediate content removal: The offending content is removed from MemberPad across all surfaces (web, mobile, push notifications).
- Account termination: The responsible account is permanently terminated and associated accounts are reviewed. We preserve evidence in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A(h).
- NCMEC CyberTipline report: As required by U.S. federal law, we submit a report to NCMEC's CyberTipline, including the content, metadata, and identifying information we hold about the account.
- Law enforcement cooperation: We respond promptly to lawful requests from law enforcement agencies investigating CSAE, including preservation requests, subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants.
- Community-wide review: If a community hosted on MemberPad is implicated, we review the community's moderation practices and may remove the community or terminate the creator's account.
6. Legal Reporting Obligations
MemberPad is an electronic communication service provider subject to the reporting requirements of the U.S. Providers and Facilitators of Online Sexual Exploitation of Children Act, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. As required by that statute, we:
- Report apparent child pornography to the NCMEC CyberTipline as soon as reasonably possible after obtaining actual knowledge.
- Preserve the reported content and associated records for at least 90 days, extendable at law enforcement's request.
- Transmit reports through the electronic means designated by NCMEC and include the information required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A(b).
- Protect the confidentiality of all such reports consistent with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A(c).
We do not actively monitor the content of private communications on MemberPad, but we respond to reports and apply automated detection to uploaded media as described above.
